Die hinter uns liegenden extremen Steigungen am Anaconda Creek im Glacier Nationalpark bewegen mich dazu, mein Fahrrad kleiner zu übersetzen. Das mitgebrachte 22-er Zahnrad ist dafür ideal.
Wieder einmal und nicht zum letzten Mal wird in Bigfork überflüssig Erscheinendes nach Hause zurückgesandt. Die Posttaxen reissen ein ordentliches Loch in die Reisekasse.
Langsam pendelt sich alles ein: Das Schlafen im Zelt, das frühzeitige Aufstehen, der Rhythmus des Unterwegsseins.
