The Great Divide Mountainbike Expedition
Togwotee Pass - Green River
Marnie at the end of the crazy wobbling trailer ride
1No water filtering today - there's a faucet!
3More woods and whitewater
4A nice quiet place to relax after a hard days ride
5Sam, the guy with the dryest tent of the whole group: It stayed at home!
6Holy cow, Tom, what a downhill!
7The sign says: If you ride too fast with your trailer, this will be the way you're looking like
8We rode FAST down from Togwotee Pass
9The place with the hidden food container
10Waiting for the group and trying to buy food for some days
11Head up, Brian, we've found the hidden food container!
12Believe me: I really HATE the roads recently maintained by a grader. The surprisingly and nearby invisible change of weak and hard surface spots makes it the worst riding I know.
13Hard work: Caterpillar repair
14A nice and lonesome place for a gas station
15Approaching Union Pass Summit
16Geographical and historical explanations can be found here
19Dangerous situation: A hungry cow seems to be deeply interested in our salty saddles
20Tired, hungry, wet and cold: Warm up around the campfire
21Hang 'em high! Protecting our stuff from beeing eaten by hungry bears
23Marianne's bike is very well protected against salt licking (and saddle eating) cattle
24Marianne's bike is very well protected against salt licking (and saddle eating) cattle
25Good morning sun - a nice view taken shortly before tapping into a big cow pie! Urgh!
26True cowboy feeling: Cattle herd running stupidly in front of your bike through the woods
28Mountain biking at its best
30A short time before seeing the guy dragging a chemical toilet trailer behind his mobile home
31Getting white again by the dust of a passing car
33Despite of the sign there was absolutely NO whiskey around here
34A sign describing the timber rafting done here at the end of the 19th century
