Information to the Country
San Marino is the oldest surviving republic in the world. Its history dates back to the year 301.
The state is located near the Adriatic coast near Rimini between the regions of Emilia-Romagna (Rimini Province) and Marche (Province of Pesaro and Urbino). San marion is an enclave completely surrounded by Italy. The fortress of La Guaita crowns the rocky ridge Monte Titano. San Marino is made up of nine communities.
